Transportation
Canada Line YVR to Pan Pacific Vancouver
Take the Canada Line to Waterfront Station. The hotel is at Canada Place, one block from the station towards the harbour.
The Canada Line is Vancouver’s new rapid transit rail link connecting YVR to downtown Vancouver in 26 minutes and to downtown Richmond in 18 minutes. It’s a fast and easy way to get to the city centres. You can conveniently access trains from both the International and Domestic Terminals. Canada Line’s YVR-Airport station is centrally located between our International and Domestic Terminals.
As you exit the train, turn left for domestic flights or right for U.S. and international flights. Have any questions? Look for our Green Coat volunteers who can help point you in the right direction.
DIRECTIONS TO CANADA LINE FOR PASSENGERS FLYING IN TO YVR ARRIVING FROM WITHIN CANADA?
If you’re picking up checked bags, you are at Arrivals, level 2 of the Domestic Terminal. Go to Level 3, and walk toward the Link Building (located in between the International and Domestic Terminal). Follow the signs marked Canada Line or ask any of our Customer Care staff in red or green vests for assistance.
ARRIVING FROM THE U.S.A OR AN INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION?
Once through the customs and immigration arrivals process, walk toward the exit to our International Arrivals Greeting Area. Exit the building following signs marked Canada Line. Before the parkade entrance, an escalator and elevator will take you up to the Canada Line platform.

Directions to the Pan Pacific from East From Trans Canada Highway - Highway 1
- Take Grandview Highway exit from Highway 1.
- Cross the overpass and continue straight on Grandview Highway.
- Grandview Highway will become 12th Avenue.
- Follow 12th Avenue to Burrard Street.
- Turn right onto Burrard Street, drive across the Burrard Street Bridge to the waterfront, approximately 10 blocks.
- Turn right onto Cordova Street, to the next set of lights, turn left on Howe Street to Canada Place Way.
- As you head along Canada Place Way you will see The Canada Place complex, turn the corner and The Pan Pacific is on your right.
Directions to the Pan Pacific From the U.S. border (I-5)
Travel time is approximately 60 minutes and distance is 48 kilometers (28 miles).
- After crossing the border you will be on Highway 99 North.
- Continue on highway 99 North for approximately 30 minutes until you come to the Oak Street Bridge.
- Continue across the bridge and follow Oak Street to 16th Avenue.
- Turn left on 16th Avenue for approximately 16 blocks to Burrard Street.
- Turn right onto Burrard Street, across the Burrard Street Bridge and down to the waterfront, approximately 10 blocks.
- Turn right onto Cordova Street, to the next set of traffic lights, turn left on Howe Street to Canada Place Way.
- As you head along Canada Place Way you will see The Canada Place complex, turn the corner and the Pan Pacific is on your right hand side.
Directions to the Pan Pacific from Vancouver International Airport (YVR)
Approximate travel time 30 minutes and distance is 9 miles (14.5 km.)
- Leave the airport on Grant McConachie Way and follow Hwy 99 N over the Arthur Laing Bridge onto Granville St. Travel approx. 60 blocks.
- Cross the Granville St Bridge, take the Seymour Street exit.
- Follow Seymour Street 10 blocks to West Cordova Street.
- Turn left on Cordova Street and then immediate right onto Howe Street which leads to Canada Place Way. The Pan Pacific is on your right.
